Cheap Articles Are Not The Best Choice
It has been said that you get what you pay for and this is no different if you purchase articles from writers. When you buy articles cheaply from certain articles, you actually lose time and money because if the writer does a poor job with the articles, there is a strong chance that you will either need to rewrite the articles yourself, have the writer rewrite them or hire a new writer who is more qualified. This is not true of every writer who charges a cheap price for articles but often when a writer charges a low price, you may not get high quality work.
The Best Writers Are Worth The Cost
If you want the best work to show up on yours or a client's website, you must be willing to pay a slightly higher price for the best writers. A common complaint among some freelance writers is that they request the standard and fair price for their work but potential clients will bypass them for a writer who is cheaper. For example, if you need a writer who is well-versed in World War II history to assist with writing your book but you only want to pay $35.00 when this writer is worth more, you lose out on someone who offers valuable expertise.
To Writers: Never Charge Too Low
When you meet with potential clients, it is important that you are already aware of how much you are worth as it relates to earning potential. If you know how much you should charge per hour or per article, then you'll have leveraging power in the meeting. Don't charge too low of a price but also don't charge excessively high prices for the job.
Website owners desire to post quality information on their website but they cheat themselves when they hire writers for cheap prices but receive low quality work. When you meet with a certain writer, you should find out how many years of experience he has in his field and which subjects he specializes in. Be willing to pay what the writer charges because he works hard to produce quality work and as some writers can tell you, the work gets daunting at times. If you have been working with a certain writer for a number of years, consider giving him a bonus or raise if you have been satisfied with his work.
